Question

Why does some flowers don't change into fruit ??

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student
Some flowers don't change into fruit in the absence of fertilization. Fertilization is an important process for the flower to change into fruit. The lack of fertilization may result due to lack of pollination. The flower having only stamens , needs pollen grains from other flowers. This may occur due to absence pollinating agents.
Thus the reason behind some flowers not changing into fruit is lack of pollination.
