Solution
Land shimmer during summer:
Firstly, the meaning of the word 'shimmering' is to shine with a soft, slightly wavering light.
Now here, when during summer days the air near the ground becomes hot this effect is observed.
It is also called 'Mirage ' or 'mrig marich' which is generally observed on roads where a false visualisation of water happens.
