Why does sound not get reflected in a small place such as a living room?

Dear Student,

Sound does get reflected in small rooms, but since the room is small the original sound and the reflected sound is heard in such quick succession that our human ear, cannot detect it. Besides in a living room there are many materials which absorbs sound hence the intensity of initial sound also decreases.
