Solution

  1. Sulphur(S) dissolves in carbon dislphude(CS2) as now it exists independently as in the form of mixture they do not react with each other.
  2. But when it reacts with iron it forms iron sulphide (FeS2)thus now it exists in a combined state that's why it does not show its individual property.
  3. And it does not dissolve in carbon disulphide.
  4. Thats why sulphur when present in mixture state dissolve in carbon disulphide whereas in the combined state it does not dissolve in carbondisulphide.
