Question

Why does breathing become faster while doing exercise?

Open in App
Solution

When a person starts doing exercise like cycling, running, weightlifting, etc, his muscle works harder and required more energy. For more energy, the person needs more supply of oxygen because energy is released by the process of cellular respiration. For this more oxygen supply to the lungs, the person starts breathing rapidly.
