$Answer when the south pole of a magnet bar is takentowards the solenoid, a deflection in opposite direction is observed, this is baiscally due to the opposite direction direction of current, that means when the south pole of magnet is taken towards the sloenoid a current in opposite direction is produce so galvanometre shows opposite deflection .$
