Question

why does the positive value of acceleration must not be speeding up for a particle in one -dimension motion ?explain with an example

Solution

It may be possible that even if the acceleration value is positive the particle is not speeding up in 1D motion. EXample- particle moving around a circle has centripetal acceleration but the speed remains constant.
