Why dont parties give enough tickets to women? Is it because of lack of internal democracy?

Parties do not give enough tickets to women due to the following reasons:

1.Gender discrimination and male chauvinism is a primary reason.Most of the political parties think that women are meant to do household chores and should no be given entry into politics.

2.Many political parties fear that if women candidates participate in elections than male candidates will lose as majority votes will go in favour of women.

3.Many male members of the political parties also feel that power will go into the hands of women if tickets are give to them on abundant basis.

The above points clarify the fact hat it is due to lack of internal democracy that women do no get enough tickets.
