why endowment fund is not coming in income side of income and expenditure account?

Dear student
As endowment fund is a kind of restricted fund.or you can say that this fund is for particular purpose.And as we know if there is particular type of fund or donation then that donation is transferred to balance sheet not in income and expenditure account.and income earned from this fund also an income which is used for specific purpose.so, that income is not transferred to income and expenditure account.
