Question

why for making soil utensils percolation rate should be low

Open in App
Solution

Dear Atul Gupta,
Percolation rate is a measure of movement of water through the soil. If the rate is high water is absorbed quickly by the soil and if its low, water is absorbed slowly by the soil. So for making the utensils made of soil, the rate should be less. Otherwise water will be quickly absorbed and makes the utensils to dissolve.
