Question

why inorganic chemical industries are more widespread ?

Open in App
Solution

1) Inorganic chemicals include sulphuric acid, nitric acid, alkalies, soda ash and caustic soda.
2) These industries are widely spread over the country as the raw materials are easily deliverable across the country.
3) Organic chemicals include petrochemicals, which are used for manufacturing of synthetic fibers, synthetic rubber, plastics, dye-stuffs, drugs and pharmaceuticals.
4) Organic chemical plants are located near oil refineries or petrochemical plants as the raw material cannot be transported over long distances and needs to be consumed urgently.
