Question

Why inside a conducting sphere electric field is zero?

Open in App
Solution

Flux is the number of field lines passing through an area, if your sphere is comparatively the same size as that of the charged particle then the flux is only caused due to the charge Q1 and not because of Q2, considering Q1 and Q2 are particles which means that both these particles are comparatively far away from each other therefore Q2 will have little or no effect on the flux at the sphere.
