Why iris is in different colors for different people?

Solution

Iris:

Iris is the colored part present at the front of the eye which is made of circular muscles. The contraction and expansion of the iris control the amount of light that passes through the pupil.

Eye colors:

Eye color is the result of variations in the amount of melanin, a pigment found in the front part of the iris of the eye. The lack of this pigment results in blue eyes, some pigment gives green and lots of pigment gives brown eyes. So light brown eyes just have a bit less melanin than darker brown eyes. All this pigmentation involves a combination of genetic traits and hence colors of the iris can change based on the genetic character of the individual.
