Atmospheric nitrogen are heavier than chemical nitrogen because of the presence of Argon as a contaminant.Argon presence in atmosphere contaminate nitrogen,since argon has mass 40 gm compared to nitrogen 28 gm mass so it will make atmospheric nitrogen heavier compared to chemical nitrogen.
