Why is bio gas a better fuel than animal dunk cakes ?

Dear Student,
Biogas is a better fuel than animal dung cakes, because:
1) When animal dung is burnt it causes lots of pollution. Where as biogas does not produce any smoke and hence does not cause pollution
2) The calorific value of biogas is higher than that of animal dung.
3) When biogas is burnt no residues are left but when animal dung is burnt it leaves residues
