It is necessary to protect the rights of the consumers by the force of law. A consumer is always on the receiving end and it is necessary to protect their rights as against the unfair trade practices of the Co. from which they avail services.

Most Consumers buy goods and services after being lured by the advertisements done by the Companies. These advertisements exaggerates the contents and quality of the product or services.

Therefore, in order to protect the legitimate rights of the consumers consumer protection laws are required.
