The working together of the various organs of an organism in a systematic manner so as to produce a proper response to the stimulus is called coordination. When a stimulus acts upon body of an organism then it has to react in a manner which is in the best interest of its body. The reaction which we give to the stimulus involves many organs of body. It is therefore necessary that all concerned organs should work with one another in a systematic manner so as to produce the required reaction. For this there should a efficient mechanism for controlling various organs.
There are various organs in an organism. These organs must be carefully controlled and coordinated for the survival of an organisms. In the body of an organism various fluids are secreted from the glands of the endocrine system. These hormones are responsible for the overall growth and development of an organism. All others daily decision that includes voluntary and involuntary action are controlled by central nervous system(CNS).
A living being does not live in isolation. It has to constantly interact with its external environment and has to respond properly for its survival. For example; when a hungry lion spots a deer, the lion has to quickly make a move so that it can have its food. On the other hand, the deer needs to quickly make a move to run for its life.
