Why is demand for freshwater increasing ? Explain any one method of water conservation .

Due to global warming there is a change in climate and precipitation rates. This is causing the decrease in quantity of fresh water. Hence the demand for fresh water is increasing. One of the best method of water conservation is rain water harvesting. In rain water harvesting the rain water is collected and stored in tanks or other reservoirs. This water is than used when needed.
