Dear student,

Diaphragm is considered as unpaired muscle along with orbicularis oris in human.
Unpaired muscle are those muscle which are not equally present on both side of the body. As diaphragm is a thin muscular sheet that forms the floor of the chest cavity and extends across the bottom of the rib cage is not placed equally on both left and right side of the body, it is considered as unpaired muscle.
