Open in App
Solution

In a chemical change, chemical reaction takes place and the substances undergo a change in their state. During chemical reactions, one substance reacts with another to form a new substance.

by adding dilute sulphuric acid, reaction takes place easily as comparison to common salt. H+ ions of sulphuric acid get easily separated and combine with sulphate of copper sulphate.

That's why sulphuric acid is added instead of common salt as reaction takes place easily and fast.
