Question

Whyis DNA copying necessary during reproduction?

Open in App
Solution

During reproduction, DNA is copied to ensure the conservation of an organism's genome.
Even there are genetic alterations, in general, same species have more or less same genome.
If the case is, DNA will not be copied from parent to offspring, more and more new species will evolve.
