Solution

Irreversible changes

  • Irreversible changes are the changes in which changes are once done, and cannot be reversed.
  • New substance is formed after the process of these changes.
  • For example, the Formation of curd from milk, the Germination of seed into a seedling, etc are irreversible changes.

Germination of seeds

  • It is an irreversible change because once the seed is germinated into a seedling cannot be reversed into seed again.
  • This seedling in turn converts into plants which sustain like on our planet by giving food and oxygen to other plants.

Hence, germination is an irreversible change.
