Solution
Global warming:
Global warming is the process of increase in the overall temperature of the globe.
It is caused by the greenhouse effect of heat trapping gases such as CO2.
Due to increase in pollution and amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, Earth's temperature also increases by 2°C to 6°C.
This is due to the heat trapping property of greenhouse gases.
Whereas, the greenhouse effect is the phenomenon in which the glass-enclosed atmosphere gets heated up due to its insulation from the rest of the environment from the presence of greenhouse gases such as CO2.
