Why is global warming also known as the greenhouse effect?

Global warming:

1. Global warming is the process of increase in the overall temperature of the globe.
2. It is caused by the greenhouse effect of heat trapping gases such as CO₂.
3. Due to increase in pollution and amount of CO₂ in the atmosphere, Earth's temperature also increases by 2°C to 6°C.
4. This is due to the heat trapping property of greenhouse gases.
5. Whereas, the greenhouse effect is the phenomenon in which the glass-enclosed atmosphere gets heated up due to its insulation from the rest of the environment from the presence of greenhouse gases such as CO₂.
