Why is it difficult for predators to identify polar bear in the snow?
Thick fat layer
White fur on the body
Coloured fur on the body
Very small size
A Polar bear is not visible in the snow because of the white fur on its body which acts as camouflage. It helps during hunting as well as in escaping from predators.
Polar bear needs a lot of rest due to fast in its blubber. Even though swimming required a lot of work, polar bears are able to swim to far away distances. Why doesn't it did overheated due to a lot of work ?
Why does polar bear don't have black hairs although black absorbs greater amount of heat than white which would help the polar bears to absorb maximum amount of heat in polar regions?
