Why is it difficult to study human behaviour than animal behaviour?

Humans are more intelligent and are aware of themselves. Each individual's behaviour differ from others. They are influenced by many variables whereas, animals of one species show similar behaviour. Humans show a controlled and discrete behaviour as compared to animals. For example, despite of being hungry from a long time humans will have their meal in a decent way whereas hungry animals will devour their food without a second thought. Thus it is difficult to study human behaviour than animal behaviour.
