Question

Why is it so that we have 2 points for Potential to be zero in line joining 2 charges while we have 1 point for Electric field to be zero??

Solution

field is vector but potential is scalar . potential for two unidentical charges is zero one within field and other at infinity . but electric field is zero at infinity . so it is not necessary that no of zero potential point are same as zero points of field .
