Why is it that rocks are that precious why ?

Many minerals are formed when magma rises to the surface of the earth and cools. Most of these minerals combine to form rocks, like feldspar, mica and quartz. The beautiful of them and rarest is used in jewellery. From the rocks only metallurgical process are carried using ores. Gems and semiprecious stone also formed from these minerals and rocks only.
