Open in App
Solution

Latent heat:

  1. The energy absorbed or released by a substance during a change in the physical condition that happens without affecting its temperature is referred to as latent heat.

Hidden:

  1. Because latent heat does not show temperature changes, it is referred to as hidden heat.
  2. During the transition of state, latent heat remains concealed.
  3. During phase shift, latent heat is employed to weaken the bonds between molecules and atoms.

Hence, the latent heat is hidden.
