Why is magnetic field always perpendicular to velocity?
Is there any case where magnetic field is not perpendicular to velocity? How?

Solution
The direction of the force is given by the right-hand rule. The force exerted on a charge moving in a magnetic field is always perpendicular to both the velocity and the field. Any force perpendicular to the velocity can not change the speed (or the kinetic energy).
i.e, Magnetic field is perpenticular to velocity. We found a similar question to the one that you posted. Please check it out here. perpenticular to velocity.
