A body cannot exist at a state ofabsolute rest or absolute motion. For example, two persons sitting in a moving bus are at rest w.r.t each other but are in motion w.r.t. ... Thus, there isno object which can be condisered to be at absolute rest. Hence, rest andmotion are relative terms.
