Solution
Inertia:- The inherent property of an object due to which it resists any change in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line by itself is called inertia.
Newton's first law of motion:- An object continues to be in its state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line until or unless some external force compels it to change its state.
Inertia depends on the mass of the object.
More the mass more is the inertia and the lesser the mass, the lesser is the inertia.
