The radiations may result in damage to the genetic composition of the developing embryo. The radiations may result in causing mutations in the DNA of the foetus. This may lead to chromosomal abnormalities and other genetic problems as well. Thus, the pregnant women is not advised to go to the X-ray radiography technique.
