Question

Why is resource conservation important?

Open in App
Solution

Instructions:It is a memory based question. Simple definition would suffice.

Solution:
Resource conservation is important because demand for these resources has been increasing due to increasing population and humans have started using these resources indiscriminately. It has led to certain major problems such as
  • Increase in the rate of depletion of resources
  • Accumulation of resources in few hands, which, in turn, divided the society into two segments i.e. haves and have nots or rich and poor.
  • Ecological damage such as global warming, ozone layer depletion, environmental pollution and land degradation.
