Solution
Sexual reproduction helps in the generation of new offsprings with variations in genetic composition. During sexual reproduction crossing over and recombination of genes occur which helps organisms inherit new combinations of genes.
This, in turn, helps the organisms to adapt to variations in the environment. In asexual reproduction, the same set of genes are passed from parents to offsprings due to which no variations are seen and hence the organisms cannot adapt to changes in the environmental conditions. So, sexual reproduction can be said to be superior to asexual reproduction.
