Open in App
Solution

Terai is the region which is marshy and swamp land extending between Yamuna and Brahmaputra rivers. It is marshy probably because this region is dulated by water of the rivers through out the year. These rivers are perenial and the continuous flow of water through these lands make them marshy and swampy.
