The circulatory system includes the heart, lymph, blood, and blood vessels.
The circulatory system carries the oxygen from the lungs to the cells by binding the oxygen to the haemoglobin in the red blood cells.
When the blood reaches the cells, oxygen is delivered into the cells that already have oxygen, and in exchange, the blood absorbs carbon dioxide.
The blood then travels back to the lungs, and the carbon dioxide is exhaled out of the body.
This transport of oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body and carbon dioxide from different parts of the body to the lungs occurs continuously through the circulatory system.
So, for these reasons, the circulatory system is important for respiration.
