Why is the heartbeat rate equal to the arterial pulse rate?
Heartbeat rate:
It is a rate at which a number of times heartbeats are recorded in the span of a minute.
Pulse rate:
It is the rate at which the number of times arteries create a pulse because of an increase in blood pressure which results in the contraction of the heart.
The heartbeat rate is equal to the arterial pulse rate due to contraction of the heart which causes an increase in blood pressure in the arteries.
