It is essential to purify the water we use and remove any minerals present in it. This is because the preparation of standard nutrient solution has a fixed concentration of minerals and any minerals if present previously and not removed from the water will cause an error in proper resolution. Hence purification of water and minerals is required for obtaining maximum optimum growth of plants.
