  1. A kilowatthour is equal to one joule.
  2. In commercial, we use kilowatthour that is how electrical equipment utilizes one kilowatt of energy for one hour.
  3. Therefore, the unit of energy equal to 1 kilowatt of power expanded for 1 hour is called kilowatt hour(kWh)
  4. Commercial apartments have distinct rates of charge that are higher than residential unit charges. It is used to reduce power usage in industries and factories which has consumed lot of electricity. So, it is required to use kilowatt hour or board of trade as commercial unit of energy.
