Dense connective tissue is a type of connective tissue in which Fibres forms the main matrix.
Dense connective tissue forms strong,rope like structures such as Tendons and ligaments.
Ligaments are more stretchy and contain more elastic fibres and they connects bones to bones and to joints.
Hence Ligament is a type of dense connective tissue due to presence of large number of elastic fibres.
