Solution
The ability of a body be able to conduct electric current depends on the mobility and alignment of its electrons.Metals have highly mobile electrons which when charged they align in such a way that electricity or even heat transfer is very simple and easy..whereas glass has highly stable electrons which are not ready to break from its lattice structure therefore when supplied with current their electons tend to move and bump into each other which courses a break.
