Why nephrons did not absorb glucose when we suffer from diabetes mellitus

Dear student,
Glucose are not absorbed by the nephrons of kidney during diabetis mellitus because the mutation occurs in the transporter of sodium and glucose rendering it ineffective in transporting glucose back into blood.
