Question

Why objects moving on a curved path with the same speed are not considered to be in uniform motion?

Open in App
Solution

This is becoz uniform motion requires velocity to remain constant. Velocity is an object's speed and direction. In circular path speed remains constant but direction changes. So velocity is changing due to its changed direction.

Hence, objects moving on a curved path with the same speed are not considered to be in uniform motion.
