The correct options are
A because I get oxidised to I2
B because I is a strong reducing agent
PbI4 on dissociation form I which is strong reducing agents. it get oxidised to I2 and reduce Pb4+ to Pb2+ in both the cases. There is no such scenario in case of PbCl4 which justifies its existence.
Hence correct options are a and b.
