  • Sunlight is present in an unlimited quantity in nature, and not likely to be exhausted by human activities. Therefore, it is inexhaustible in nature. [1 mark]
  • But petrol is present in limited quantity in nature, and the formation of the petroleum from which petrol is obtained requires millions of years. Therefore, it is exhaustible in nature. [1 mark]
