Why potassium permanganate discolouruse faster at higher temperature than that at lower temperature?

The kinetic energy of particles of waterincreases with increase in temperature. Therefore, the particles of hot water move faster. This increases the rate of diffusion. Hence, potassium permanganate diffuses faster in hot water than in cold water.
