Why ridges and grooves are present on our fingers?
Does hair provide us in sensation of touch? How?
Can albinism be cured?
1)Fingerprints (and footprints) are tiny ridges on the surface of the skin (epidermis) that are formed by lines in the deep skin (dermis). They probably give us better grip by giving our skin more friction. They may also help keep the skin from tearing easily.
2)The human body contains special nerve endings called sensory receptors that enable you to “feel” things. ... Hair does not contain nerve endings. However, hair follicles, which are located in the dermis, are surrounded by touch receptors. That's why you canfeel it if someone or something touches your hair.
3)There's no cure for albinism. However, treatment can relieve symptoms and prevent sun damage. Treatment may include: sunglasses to protect the eyes from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays.
