Why root pressure disappears in unfavorable conditions and what could be those unfavorable conditions?

Dear student,

When the active distribution of minerals nutrient ions into the root xylem is interrupted this will affects the root pressure. Because root pressure is mainly caused due to the accumulation of water in the xylem that pushes the rigid cells.
