Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
Root hair passes through the capillary pores and attaches to the soil particle with pectic compounds and then absorbs water but when the diameter of the capillary water is below 0.2 micrometer then root hair can not pass into the capillary micropores and therefore can not absorb water.
