Dear student, plastic containers should be banned or avoided because plastics are non-biodegradable. microorganisms cannot break down plastics. they take several million years to degenerate.since plastic have a wide use,they create huge amount of waste . it pollutes soil and waterbodies. on burning, plastics release poisonous gases killing as many sea animals every year.
